Premature
As I wrote on Discord: "To be honest, I think you did jump the gun there because I'm not very keen on this category either. The main reason is because our category pages are already a mess, and we still have many outstanding talks about how to reorganize them, esp. those that pertain to individuals. Adding yet another category we are dubious about only adds to the burden before we've resolved the other categories. So I agree with Odey here. But I am interested to hear your arguments for this category because there remains the possibility it is useful. I think if we did have this category, I lean more towards what Master Sima Yi suggested, distinguishing those assassinated by Assassins and those assassinated by Templars, as wordy as that is. This is because I don't see how a category of people who got assassinated is that significant. Hella people get offed in this series lol. But a category of people who were targeted and assassinated by Assassins could be more useful in contrast."
Objections have been raised about this category by Odey and Soranin as well while alternatives are being discussed. Cris agrees with the creation of this category, but we still need to figure out the best name. Given all of these issues, the creation of this page was premature. But I would like to re-emphasize that my principal cause for objection is that our category pages already need major maintenance and revision.
