The Abbasid Caliphate was an Caliphate founded by As-Saffah, member of the Arab Abbasid Dynasty in 750, succeeding the Umayyad Caliphate, it rule from 750 to 1258, but it rise again in 1261, until it fall in 1517 by the Ottoman Empire.
