Okay, I'll bite. Why exactly should we go through 5323 articles just to add a single category to each of them? --Crimson Knight Intercom 03:38, November 30, 2014 (UTC)

It's a category for top-level categories that were uncategorized, not a category for every individual article on the wiki. It's needed because top-level categories being uncategorized creates a disconnect in the wiki's category tree. Icelerate (talk) 03:54, November 30, 2014 (UTC)
Well yeah, but use one of the categories we already have if you want to fill in the gaps. Creating a whole new one doesn't really make sense. Especially taking into account the fact that "Articles" doesn't seem appropriate for categories. --Crimson Knight Intercom 03:58, November 30, 2014 (UTC)
