De la Serre's advisors
Hi. Since you have the Unity novel, could you tell me if François de la Serre's advisors (Sivert, Lévesque, le Peletier, Lafrenière) play a specific role in the part of the novel that takes place before the game?
And keep up the good work, by the way.--Bovkaffe (talk) 22:04, June 6, 2015 (UTC)
- Not much. Elise used to call them "The Crows" and they always attended Francois meetings. They did not like Elise and Julie though, because the de la Serres wanted change and the advisors wanted Francois to control the Crown (besides they didn't want Elise to be the Grand Master). During Julie's assassination attempt, the de la Serres and Weatherall thought the advisors hired the Assassin Ruddock, but they didn't. That's all.
- I'm afraid my activities in the wiki would be lessened because my classes just started. Its a pleasure working with you guys. Misphantom (talk) 11:20, June 7, 2015 (UTC)
Defaultsort
Hey misphantom,
The defaultsort helps with categorization :) If, theoretically, you created the article "Aveline de Grandpré" and you wrote up a nice biography and whatnot, and then categorized her as an Assassin, you would find Aveline de Grandpré under 'A' (because the article's name starts with Aveline). By using the defaultsort template (you'd fill it out as DEFAULTSORT: Grandpré, Aveline de), you can categorize her correctly by her surname
So for the database entries, we simply use the defaultsort so not all database articles end up under 'D' (because they all go like "Database: insert subject"). It makes the categories easier to navigate.
Thanks for reading :) Crook The Constantine District 12:15, June 30, 2015 (UTC)
- Oh thanks, it really makes sense now :D Misphantom (talk) 12:17, June 30, 2015 (UTC)
Images
Hey Misphantom
Wonderful job on sourcing the Arbaaz image. I saw it when it was still just the "fair use" template and was about to change it, but you got there yourself :) One thing though. Images uploaded on Facebook generally get slightly pixellated - it's not something you see unless you compare the two pictures side by side - so in future, when you see ATA add an image to their gallery, try to find where original image came from, if you've got time and don't mind of course. Alright that's all - I really appreciate the work you're doing on the wiki, thank you ^^ Crook The Constantine District 13:39, July 15, 2015 (UTC)

Unity novel
Hi Misphantom,
Great job updating the pages for Élise de la Serre & Assassin's Creed: Unity (novel). Just wondering if you have a rough idea when the next section(s) of Élise's journal will be added. The last entry you added was for 2 Apr 1788 on Aug 18. I don't mean to rush you, since Syndicate seems to have most people's focus now, and you probably have school and/or work to deal with. On a side note, do you know if/when Assassin's Creed: Black Flag will be updated in similar style to Unity's novel and Assassin's Creed: Forsaken? It's remained a stub since the page was added.
Could you please respond when it is most convenient for you? Thanks. 134.117.249.146 19:45, September 28, 2015 (UTC)
- Okay sir, I'd start updating the Unity novel. Oh and I also managed to have a copy of the Black Flag novel. I'd update it as soon as I finish Unity's.Misphantom (talk) 01:03, September 29, 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks, can’t wait. I know you people have lots to work on, what with Syndicate and Chronicles: India to be released soon, so take your time. Oh, Arno doesn’t have a journal entry after 20 March 1788. I'm pretty sure his next entry is pp. 325–328 inclusive, and none of his entries mention village life or other women (unless I missed it?). Last, correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think the de la Serre estate has a page, despite being “linked” to in François’ page. Does it need a page, or should I ask someone else? Thanks again. – O.P. 134.117.249.160 15:14, September 30, 2015 (UTC)
- I think you missed it sir. Arno stated that he had been uh "breaking his tryst" with other women during his time in the village near Versailles. Regarding the estate page, I think we do need one but I'm sorry. I'm too busy at the moment to create it (and add information from AC:Unity game). And Arno's next journal entry is still far haha many chapters to go before that one. Misphantom (talk) 03:43, October 1, 2015 (UTC)
- Hmm... Flipped through novel. Pretty sure Arno’s entries are pp. 5, 63–64, 89–92, 327–328, 385–389, & 435–466. Where’s the missing entry? For me, after 20 Mar 1788 (p.164) comes 2 Apr 1788 (p.165), no Arno. Maybe we have different prints? I’m in America, you’re in Asia. Re: estate – I’d been wondering if there was enough game/book info to justify a page, not asking if you specifically could create it. – O.P. 104.157.149.109 11:42, October 5, 2015 (UTC)
- I'm doing the journal entries one chapter at a time so I'm not going to skip all Elise's entries to complete Arno's. Regarding the estate page, it would definitely be a stub. The only data from the game you can put there is the background info (who owned it and where it was probably) and Arno's time there with some additional information from the book. If you are interested, you can create if yourself. I'm pretty sure the other editors are going to add other information about it. I'm sorry, I can't give you a solid answer. I'm not a staff member so if you need more information, you may ask Crook or Sima. Misphantom (talk) 12:26, October 5, 2015 (UTC)
