The Abandoned Camp

The Abandoned Camp was a campsite on the island of Aegina in the Saronic Gulf.

It was the only sign of recent inhabitants, and when the Spartan misthios Kassandra visited the island during the Peloponnesian War, even the campsite was empty, save for lions.[1]
