Okay, Mentor, I believe I've revamped the Aveline de Grandpré article (please evaluate the official article, not the one in my sandbox, cause I made some small final edits to the former which aren't present in the latter) to the best of my abilities. I didn't quite know where I should leave you messages about my progress (pigeoncoop? IRC?), so for now, I'll just use this :)

A couple things you could do would be to verify that in our recent shuffle of categories we haven't missed any that apply to Altair and to make sure the trivia section follows MoS. Haha, no problem. I did look over the categories and everything looks good (though I wonder if he should also be added to the "Couriers" category, since some of his missions in ACI involved running around doing errands for other Assassins), and I made a few adjustments to the Trivia section. I've sandboxed those changes for your reference, in case you're planning to replace the article wholesale. I have provided sufficient evidence for my edits on both the article's talk page and the talk page of Kainzorus Prime's talk page. Please look at both before accusing me of edit warring. You asked me for a source. Here is one of them. This is the description of the memory Knowledge (Masun) from Memory Block 2 of Assassin's Creed:

Masun was executed by Al Mualim for his treason. But even at the end, faced with the prospect of oblivion, he insisted his grievous work was just. I know not howRobert poisoned his mind, and I worry he is but the first of such men. The Templar must be stopped. 

The proper definition of treason is "the act of betrayal of one's own group or country". If he had just been a citizen, he would have said he had been executed for his betrayal. Another quote is the very one that adorns the top of Masun's article. The rest can all be found in the Masyaf segment of Memory Block 2 in the game.
