Forty Senators, secretly members of the Assassin Order,^[1] plot the assassination of the Roman dictator Gaius Julius Caesar while being led by Gaius Cassius Longinus and Marcus Junius Brutus,^[2] who was unknowingly aided by the Templars.^[3]
On 15 March, twenty-three of the conspirators stabbed Julius Caesar, killing him.^[1]
