I don't understand, if Suleiman was an ally to the Assassins,why did he beheaded Piri Reis?Killeras 16:48, November 28, 2011 (UTC)
- Because Piri Reis was still an Ottoman general, above all else, and being an Assassin does not grand him immunity from Ottoman law, and giving Piri Reis privileges would've gotten a lot of attention from other Ottomans. -- Master Sima Yi 17:03, November 28, 2011 (UTC)
- So... You're saying that Suleiman beheaded Piri Reis to not raise suspicion? If so, IMHO, that doesn't sound like a smart plan.
