Ōhiko-no-Mikoto (大彦命) was the son of the legendary 8th emperor of Japan, Emperor Kōgen and lived during the mid-Yayoi period. He became the ancestor to the Abe clan.[1] By the 16th century, Ōhiko-no-Mikoto was revered by many members of the the Iga ikki, who often blessed things in his name during ceremonies and traditions.[2]
