Þjazi (anglicized as Thiazi, Thjazi, Tjasse or Thiassi) was a jötunn in Norse mythology. He was a son of the jötunn Ölvaldi, brother of jötnar Iði and Gangr, and the father of Skaði.

At some point, Þjazi asked Loki to bring "the fruit of Iðunn's toil" to him, but instead of giving them the powerful artifact which he expected, Loki just gave him a basket of real apples. Þjazi was furious about this and wrote a letter to warn Loki that if there is no such artifact, he can't enter Jötunheimr again, otherwise he would be "served as a side dish at Hel's grim banquet."[1]
