Yucatán Peninsula
Edward Kenway
The Yucatán Peninsula was an area ventured by Assassin Edward Kenway in 1719. After ending a quick meeting with Bartholomew Roberts, Kenway discovered Benjamin Hornigold, who had been following him. As a result, Edward disabled Hornigold's ship, evaded his crew, and eliminated him. This led to a heated argument between Hornigold and Kenway regarding his devotion. Afterwards, Hornigold succumbed to his wounds, and Kenway traveled to Cape Long for the rendezvous point with Roberts.

History
The peninsula has long been speculated to have been the resting point of the meteorite that ultimately caused the extinction of the dinosaurs. In addition, supernatural activity has been rumored to occur beneath the peninsula.
