Wincestre Garrison was an Anglo-Saxon military outpost and prison in Wincestre, Hamtunscire.

History

In 877, Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan traveled to Wincestre Garrison, after investigating the Reeve Goodwin's home and finding threats from "The Gallows." Within the garrison, she sleuthed her way inside and whispered inquiries to other prisoners about Goodwin's location. From her search, she headed inward to the inner compound of the garrison and rescued Goodwin from a building's lower cells. Upon his rescue, both Eivor and Goodwin escaped the garrison and regrouped later outside. From her time in Wincestre, Eivor further probed the garrison's grounds and found a chest within one of the garrison's buildings. She opened the chest and retrieved the Mentor's Trousers.
