William Crest
William Crest (died 1750s) was a notorious pirate during the mid-18th century. Crest, along with his fellow pirate Joseph Reed, made a fortune attacking and raiding ships in the Atlantic Ocean during the Seven Years' War. Crest captained a Man O' War called the Cauldron which, alongside Reed's ship, the Pilgrim, was eventually sunk by the Templar Shay Cormac's vessel, the Morrigan.[1]
