Virtual Training missions
The Virtual Training Room missions are missions that take place in the new addition to the Animus interface, the Animus Virtual Training Program. Their purpose is to train Desmond Miles in the Animus, and to teach the player advanced moves to use in combat. The training room missions also allow you to compete online, by comparing scores on the Leaderboards. The surroundings are the background of the Animus interface.

Free Run
- Race Tutorial - Race against the clock in a short tutorial of advanced free run skills.
- Short Course 1

Stealth Assassination
- Hidden Blade
- All Weapons
- Hidden Blade 2
- All Weapons 2

Locate
- Flag Hunt
- Flag Hunt 2
- Flag Hunt 3
Combat
- Flawless Hidden Blade: This challenge involves taking out as many enemies as possible with the hidden blade without being hit.
- Flawless All Weapons: Same as the hidden blade, but all weapons are useable.
- Short Kill Streak: This challenge involves performing as many excution streaks in 45 seconds; wherein the score is the product of the number of enemies killed, multiplied by the longest streak achieved.
- Medium Kill Streak: Same as Short Kill Streak, but with a 1:20 time limit.
- Long Kill Streak: Same as the Short Kill Streak, but with a 2:00 time limit.
Trivia
- Completing all the training challenges with a Bronze medal or higher will unlock the Raiden Skin for Ezio. This may be referring to the fact that Raiden was mostly trained in VR missions, as stated in Metal Gear Solid 2.
- Within the training missions, Ezio is not affected by armor customizations, and is always wearing the default Assassin White robes, with a set of Seusenhofer armor; although he is affected by outfit customizations.
- Earning 3 gold medals will reward the player the "Perfectionist" achievement/trophy, which also unlocks 20 Uplay Units.
