Vanguard (simulation)

The Vanguard was a type of guard found in the simulations of Elysium, Hades, and Atlantis. These heavy guards often bore a large shield and a heavy weapon. Like the other types of soldiers used in the simulation, Vanguards are mind-controlled humans, being kept in check with Torches of Hypnos.

During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra encountered a large number of these enemies during her travels in the simulations.
