Uriconium Ruins

Uriconium Ruins was an abandoned Roman ruins that was located in Sciropescire, England.

History

In the 870s, the Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir ventured through the ruins and found a Roman artifact atop the arch. Searching the area further, she found an entrance and went inside its underground passage. Wading through the passage, she found a enormous bear, which was drinking a barrel of mead, as it noticed her presence. Readying herself, Eivor engaged the bear and after a lengthy battle, she killed the bear and took its head as her prize.[1]
