Thomas de Carneillon (1276, Metz – 1323, Venice) was a banker and the Mentor of the French Assassins. He became a legendary figure among the Assassins for his role during the destruction of the Templar Order in 1307, and the decade during which he traveled through Europe in order to eradicate the remnant of the Templar.
