Theotford Forest

Theotford Forest is a forest of lowland pines that separates the counties of Norfolk and Suffolk in East Anglia, England.[1] North of the forest lies a former Roman shrine to Brittania.

In the 870s, while tracking down Gifle, a member of the Order of the Ancients, Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan discovered a note detailing the location of a bandit camp at the highest point of Theotford Forest.[2] Arriving at the location, she found Gifle among the bandits and assassinated him, damaging the ties between bandit groups and the Order.[3]
