Theagenes of Thasos
Theagenes of Thasos (fl. 5th century BCE) was a Thasian Olympic athlete who lived during the 5th century BCE.
Trained at a gymnasium on the island of Thasos, Theagenes was the most famous among his peers, whose strength was said to be legendary. Theagenes later completed in the boxing and pankration events, become victorious at every Panhellenic Games.[1]
