Arpinon (unknown – 4 January 1791) was a member of the Templar Order and an associate of Charles Sivert. He was involved in a association of Templars wishing to please the new Grand Master, François-Thomas Germain, by taking over the money of the nobility and the clergy.

Biography

In January 1791, after he was tasked by Sivert to make disadvantageous deals and subsequently extort money from imprisoned and desperate aristocrats, Arpinon met his partner at the Conciergerie in order to inform him of his successes. After Sivert left, Arpinon was assassinated by Pierre Bellec from above, the latter acting on orders from the Assassin Council.

Shocked by Arpinon's death, Sivert's other accomplice, Duchesneau, increased security around the Notre-Dame for his meeting with Sivert.
