Arpinon was a member of the Templar Order and an associate of Charles Sivert. He was involved in a association of Templars wishing to please the new Grand Master, François-Thomas Germain, by taking over the money of the nobility and the clergy.

Biography

In January 1791, after he was tasked by Sivert to make disadvantageous deals and subsequently extort their money from imprisonned and desesperate aristocrats, Arpinon met his partner in order to inform him of his successes. But his death having been ordered by the Assassin Council and after the departure of Sivert, he was air assassinated by Pierre Bellec while Arno Dorian took care of his bodyguards.

Following Arpinon's death, Duchesneau, an other Templar associate of Sivert, who was tasked with extorting the Church, increased the security during their meeting in Notre-Dame.
