The Grotto
The Grotto was the hidden workplace of Gunlodr in Útgarðar, Jötunheimr.
History
In Eivor Varinsdottir's visions of Odin's time in Jotunheim, the Æsir lord deduced his way into The Grotto to look for Gunlodr and ask for her presence under Suttungr's orders. There, he saw her notes and came across a broken-mirrored device. Soon, Gunlodr saw him and talked with him about trying to look into the future and prevent Ragnarök. Wanting to continue to investigate the voices from the mirror, all they heard was silence. Thus, Gunlodr left with Havi to the Feasting Hall. However, as they left, a voice came through the mirror.[1]
