Temple of the Golden-Bowed Goddess

The Temple of the Golden-Bowed Goddess, also referred to as the Ruins of Artemis, was a temple dedicated to Artemis within Pandora's Cove in Malis, Greece.

By the 5th century BCE, the temple had largely decayed into ruins and was occupied by a detachment of the Daughters of Artemis. During the Peloponnesian War the temple ruins were visited by the Spartan misthios Kassandra, who recovered a legendary belt from a chest.[1]

She also climbed the highest point of the ruins and took in the view.[1]
