Temple of Poseidon

The Temple of Poseidon was a temple dedicated to Poseidon, the Greek god of the sea, located in the city of Korkyra on Korfu.

During the Peloponnesian War, the misthios Kassandra visited the temple during her vacation away from mainland Greece. There, Kassandra slew the guards and the captain, as well as looted an ancient tablet and various valuables.[1]
