Temple of Asklepios

The Temple of Asklepios was a large temple dedicated to Asklepios in the port city of Piraeus in Attika, Greece. It was one of the first few temples of Asklepios constructed after the introduction of the cult to Athens. It's construction was funded by a wealthy Athenian named Telemachos.

During the Peloponnesian War, the temple was visited by the Spartan misthios, Kassandra.[1]
