Temple of Artemis

The Temple of Artemis was a small temple dedicated to Artemis located in the northwest region of Phokis, Greece. During the Peloponnesian War, the temple served as a temporary residence for Daphnae, the leader of the Daughters of Artemis.

In 431 BCE, the Spartan misthios, Kassandra, visited the temple, where she met with Daphnae. Daphnae tasked her to eliminate several legendary animals across Greece and retrieve their pelts for her.[1]
