In a simulation created by the Isu Aletheia, a Tartaros Veil is a gate in the realm of Tartaros which keeps all living souls from crossing the gateway between realms in the underworld. Attempting to do so will result in the individual being burned to death.

The only way to traverse them alive is by wearing a special set of armor crafted by the Isu. During the Peloponnesian War, the misthios Kassandra possibly explored these veils scattered throughout Tartaros.[1]
