A talisman is an object ascribed with religious or magical powers with the intended purpose of protection for the individual for whom they are made. They are often worn as portable objects in many ways, but can also be installed permanently in architecture.

During the 9th century, the Hidden One Basim Ibn Ishaq carried and worn a number of talisman during his time pursuing the Order of the Ancients in Baghdad, some of which he bought from merchants in the city.<ref name="ACM">Assassin's Creed: Mirage.

Name Description
Apprentice Talisman This talisman is awarded when one attains the rank of "Apprentice" among the Hidden Ones of Alamut.
NoviceTalisman This talisman is awarded when one attains the rank of "Novice" among the Hidden Ones of Alamut.
Disciple Talisman This talisman is awarded when one attains the rank of "Disciple" among the Hidden Ones of Alamut.
Assassin Talisman This talisman is awarded when one attains the rank of "Assassin" among the Hidden Ones of Alamut.
Master Talisman This talisman is awarded when one attains the rank of "Master" among the Hidden Ones of Alamut.
Lion's Head Talisman This talisman inlaid with garnet evokes the legend of Rostam, a heroic figure in Persian mythology. His exploits are chronicled in the Shahnameh, or the Epic of Kings.
Scarab Talisman This talisman is sculpted in the shape of a scarab beetle. The scarab features prominently in the iconography of Egypt, ancestral home of the Hidden Ones.
Jeweled Talisman This dazzling talisman is laden with gold and gems and proundly declaims the wealth of its wearer to the world.
Knight's Talisman This talisman would have adorned the horse that bore an Abassid knight into battle. Red and gold, it bears the cavalry's colors.

Bedouin Talisman A talisman marked witht the insignia of the Bedouin, nomadic tribes who have roamed the desert for centuries.

Rebel's Talisman This red-and-white talisman marks the wearer as sympathetic to the cause of Ali ibn Muhammad and his rebels, who seek to end slavery and topple the Caliphate.
Eldritch Talisman This talisman evokes an eldritch creature whose history is chronicled by Abdul Alhazred in his Kitab al-Azif.
Mysterious Talisman A strange talisman whose symbology can be traced back to a little-known ancient civilization. Much of its history has been lost, yet it is said that the odd relic remains for those keen-eyed enough to spot them.
