The Syrian Sabre was a weapon used by the Assassin Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad during the Third Crusade, and was the third sword given to him from his mentor, Al Mualim. It was also obtained by the Assassin Ezio Auditore during the Italian and Ottoman Renaissance.

Specifications

The sword had a curved blade of approximately 90 centimeters (or 3 feet). It bore some relation to a scimitar and was classed as a superior weapon, except for its size.

Trivia

  • The Syrian Sabre is obtained randomly by Ezio Auditore during the first DNA sequence, despite Ezio originally receiving the Common sword from his father's chest.
  • It is considered the best sword in Assassin's Creed. However, its capabilities are considerably weaker in the other three games in the series, likely due to its advanced age of around three hundred years.
