Sword of Goujian

Originally belonging to Goujian, the King of Yue,the Sword of Goujian was forged by the swordsmiths of Wu and Yue in ancient China. This bronze sword is known for its uncanny resistance to tarnish and exceptional keenness. The blade also bears two columns of bird-worm seal script text on one of its side.[1]
In 1524, this sword wound up in the possession of a team of Roma Assassins travelling with Chinese Assassin Shao Jun through the Mekong basin looking for a renegade member of the Brotherhood.[2]
In 2017, rouge Abstergo Industries employee Layla Hassan made this sword available through an Animus modification while reliving the life of the Egyptian medjay Bayek.[3]

Behind the scenes
Historically, this sword was rediscovered in 1965 during an excavation of a tomb in Hubei, China where the sword had lain for over 2,000 years.
