Stowe (Order of the Ancients)

Stowe, also known as the Connection, was a member of the Order of the Ancients active in England in the late ninth century.

Biography

By the 870s, Stowe was known among the Hidden Ones as a go-between for the Order of the Ancients' many branches and as a collector for the blades of fallen Hidden Ones. A group of Hidden Ones in London collected information on him and other Order members, which they shared with Alva, a Viking from the Raven Clan looking for a specific blade that was likely in his hands.

Due to one of his letters detailing a meeting in London also being found by Alva, she was able to track him down and kill him. Even though he had hired guards, she was able to chop his head clean off with her bearded axe.

Legacy

In the 2020s, Joey relived Alva's memories, experiencing a conversation between her and The Connection in a Memory Corridor, where Stowe said he was glad Alva was his killer, saying that his death was only a setback for the Order, and revealed the location of the blade.
