Stink bombs were a form of distractionary explosives utilized by Ottoman Assassins that drenched their victims with a foul odor, repelling all who came too close.

Useful for separating a marked target from innocent crowds, stink bombs could be crafted by using any shell and gunpowder type combined with the skunk oil ingredient.

In Assassin's Creed: Revelations, any enemy who comes into contact with the effect radius of a Stink Bomb will stop in their tracks, allowing the player to create temporary impassable "barriers" in all but the widest thoroughfares.
