The Statue of Poseidon was a gigantic bronze statue of the Greek god Poseidon in the Port of Lechaion in Korinth, Korinthia, Greece.

The Spartan misthios Kassandra visited the statue during the Peloponnesian War, solving an Ainigmata Ostraka.[1]

Trivia

  • The statue is modeled after the Artemision Bronze statue which is thought to depict either Poseidon or more likely Zeus.
