The Statue of Liberty alongside the Eiffel Tower in a server bridge

Liberty Enlightening the World, best known as the Statue of Liberty,[1] is a colossal copper-clad sculpture in the neoclassical style housed at New York City, United States.[2] Designed and built in France[1] as a gift to the United States, it represents Libertas, the Roman goddess of freedom, and celebrated the 100-year anniversary of American independence from the British.[3] In 1885, it was shipped across the Atlantic and it was completed and unveiled to the American people[2] on 28 October 1886.[1]

In 2014, an Initiate reliving the memories of the Assassin Arno Dorian during the French Revolution went through a server bridge to avoid detection by Abstergo's server sweeps. Though the simulation was set during 1889, a period after it had already had been rebuilt in New York, the Statue of Liberty bled through due to the instability caused by incomplete and corrupted code.[4]
