Spalda Fens
The Spalda Fens was an area of the Fenlands of Eastern England, located in the north of Grantebridgescire next to East Anglia. During the late 9th century, it served as the place where Goneril, one of the Daughters of Lerion, operated to hone her skill in the occult to confuse her enemies.
In the 870s, the fens was visited by the Viking Eivor Varinsdottir, who went to inspect one of the corpses used by Goneril. Despite making use of the occult to disorient and confuse Eivor, Goneril was defeated and killed by Eivor, who looted a dagger from her corpse.[1]
