Sokrates

Socrates (470/469 BCE – 399 BCE) was an ancient Greek philosopher credited as one of the founders of Western philosophy. He was the teacher of Plato.

During the early 16th century, the Assassin Ezio Auditore da Firenze retrieved a copy of Aesop's Fables in Constantinople which was attributed to Socrates.

Trivia

• It is unknown why the copy of Aesop's Fables obtained by Ezio was attributed to Socrates, although it suggests that he was either the true author or the one who wrote the fables down.
