Sinmara was an Isu who was remembered in Norse mythology as the jötnar consort to Surtr, the lord of Múspellsheimr, but wife of Mímir.

Mythology

Sinmara is only mentioned in the poem Fjǫlsvinnsmál, the second half of the two-part compilation titled Svipdagsmál. In it, she is listed alongside Surtr and was the owner of the weapon Lævateinn.
