Simon the Zealot (fl. 1st century) was one of the apostles of Jesus.

At some point in the 1st century, Simon travelled to what is now Lincolnshire, where he was crucified in a Roman site in the northeast. This ruins later became the home of a large wolf called Gemad-Wulf.[1]
