In 1507 Master Assassin, Ezio Auditore Da Firenze travels to Northern Spain to finally kill Cesare once and for all. Cesare who had also travelled to Spain to besiege Viana to try and commandeer Juan of Navarre's vast army, even though Cesare was under Juan's service.

When Ezio arrived at Viana the battle had already begun, as soldiers fought outside the town's walls and cannon also fired, destroying parts of the town. Ezio made his way through the small countryside region outside the town's walls and found constant battles between soldiers, Ezio killed them all, making his way into the town and reaching Cesare, who was waiting for Ezio on top of the town's wall.
