Arend Schut is a Dutch former MMA champion and member of the Assassin Order as a disciple of Harlan Cunningham, his lover.
In February 2014, Schut and Cunningham stole the Precursor box from an Abstergo Industries facility in Rotterdam. After a firefight with Abstergo's Sigma Team, they lost the Precursor box, though they managed to escape alive.

Equipment and skills
Being a former MMA champion, Schut is quite skilled in hand-to-hand combat and also shows profiency with firearms. He managed to hold his ground against Abstergo's Sigma team, killing at least half of them. Among his personal weapons he counts his Hidden Blade, worn on the right arm, and brass knuckles.
