Secret location

The Secret Locations in Assassin's Creed II are hidden tombs of Desmond and Ezio's ancestors that can be found all around in the game. They consist of Prince of Persia-like platform levels which must be achieved through acrobatic moves and some puzzle resolving. These missions are optional, however, the first one must be done to discover a Templar conspiracy against the Medicis.

Each location has several stages and each one has a different platforming objective in time from climbing high towers from inside to timed events that are meant to test a players abilities. After finishing each location you enter an ancestors burial room where you will obtain a seal. Obtaining all 6 seals will unlock Altair's armor which is the most powerful armor in the game and is the only way for Desmond to achieve full synchronization with Ezio.
