The San Marco District is a district of Florence and is featured in Assassin's Creed II. It is located at the east side of the city and it also includes some of the north areas of Florence. Notable landmarks in this district are the Basilica di Santa Croce, the Palazzo Medici and the Ospedale degli Innocenti. During the 15th century most of the construction in Florence was in this area.
