Sam Crowder was a member of the British Brotherhood of Assassins, and the husband of Lydia Frye.

Sam Crowder met, fell in love with, and married Lydia Frye shortly before the outbreak of the First World War. Sam, along with many others from the British Brotherhood, enlisted in the army during the war.[1]
