Saint Lewinna's Church

Saint Lewinna's Church was an Anglo-Saxon church in Guildford, Suthsexe.

History

In the 870s, the Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan traveled to the town of Guildford and inspected the church. Breaking through the church's tower, Eivor made her way through locked doors and movable blockades to find a chest behind a door. Opening the chest, Eivor recovered the Mentor's Robes and soon left the church.[1]

Behind the scenes

The church appears to be named after a saint called Lewina, who was also known as "Lewinna."
