Aquilius was a Roman Assassin and was an ancestor of Altair Ibn-La Ahad
Trivia
- "Aqulia" is a constellation which in Latin means "eagle", in the same context as Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad and Ezio Auditore da Firenze's first names also pretaining to eagles in their native heiritages. Also, the constellation of Aquila's brightest star is named Altair.
- In his appearance in the French Graphic Novel he presents himself as "Aquilius, Son of Lucius" before he is stabbed in the shoulder and knocked out.
- It is presently unknown whether or not Aquilus is a canon Assassin's Creed character, due to his only appearences being in the French Graphic Novel which was proven not to be canon to the official story on many points.
