The Rostam Dagger was a dagger named for the legendary hero Rostam.
In the 860s, the Hidden One Basim Ibn Ishaq received the knife as a thanks for escorting a poet out of the city.[1] Basim later refined the weapon with the help of blacksmiths in Baghdad.[2]
