A rifle is a long-barreled firearm that was developed in the 19th century, a successor to the musket. The difference between a rifle and a musket is the rifling within its gun barrel, which not only gives the name to the weapon, but also provides the spin to the bullet, making it an amazingly accurate weapon compared to its predecessors.

History

Rifles were sold in Parisian markets during the French Revolution, where the French Assassin Arno Dorian acquired both the Sharpshooter Flintlock and the Long Rifle.

The East India Company, Sikh Empire, Red Army and NKVD all employed soldiers that specialized in using rifles, so-called "riflemen" or "rifle guard".

Russian Assassin Nikolai Orelov used a rifle modified by his friend Fedor Tokarev, who added an unique suppressor for Orelov, making it almost silent though with some loss to power, and modified the gun to use 7.62mm cartridges which were in use by the Red Army at the time.
