Psammos Hideout

The Psammos Hideout was a bandit hideout located north-west of Saqqara Nome in the 1st century BCE Egypt.
In 48 BCE, the hideout was infiltrated by the Medjay Bayek of Siwa, where he found a letter, then eliminated the bandits and claimed their valuables.[1]
Behind the scenes
The name of the place includes the Greek word ψᾰ́μμος (psámmos), which means 'sand, desert'.
