Pride of the Lion

The Pride of the Lion was an old sword that was once carried by a highly-decorated soldier of the Achaemenid Empire.
Its crossguard and pommel decorated with the stylized heads of wild boars, this blade was obtained by the Spartan misthios Kassandra after her introductory fight with Darius around 429 BCE.[1]

| An aged, ornate blade once awarded to the bravest soldiers of the Persian army. Though weathered and tarnished, it remains deadly. | ||||
Behind the scenes
Darius carries an identical blade. As seems to be the case in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey (another being Leda and her Hero's Sword), this suggests that Kassandra either took it from Darius, or Darius gave it to her.
