The Pillar of Dionysos was a statue of Dionysus, the Greek god of wine, located in the Kithairon Foothills in Megaris. Due to the surrounding foliage, the rest of the body, with the exception of the face, was hidden.
During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios, Kassandra, visited the statue.[1]
